The job
Where a cold room becomes a cold building.
DCW Casing is a partnership of three of the most respected companies in the natural casings business. The casings have to be kept at an exact temperature. DCW needed about 55,000 square feet of cold space inside an existing building in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
This is box-in-a-box construction. That means RSNE built a new insulated room inside the existing building. We installed FALK HFW-40 insulated metal wall panels, in the PE Igloo White finish. We ran the panels one after another under the existing roof. Then we hung our own doors in the openings we built. This job is much bigger than one cold room, but we build it the same way we build every job.
FALK supplied the panels. RSNE built the swing doors in our own shop and hung them. We installed the specialty traffic doors and the high-speed roll-up doors. An RSNE crew lead ran every phase, site visit to final trim. Finished in 2025. FALK featured the project. We just built it.

More on what we build: cold storage rooms and buildings. Doors on this job: RSNE custom doors, pass-through and traffic doors and high-speed roll-up doors.
