Cold Storage Rooms & Buildings

Cold Rooms and Buildings.
Cold Storage Construction.

Most cold storage construction companies bid the panels. We build the whole envelope — floors, walls, ceilings, doors — to the engineer’s drawings, on your schedule.

Rooms

Box-in-a-Box

A room inside the building you already have, built from insulated metal panel (IMP) walls. Use it for holding, processing, or as a cooler or freezer.

We work around the customers’ schedule. No shutdowns, no disruption to your operation.
Multiple temperature zones in one footprint: shared walls, separate doors
From ambient production area to a −30°F freezer with insulated floors, we’ve built it.

Buildings

Big Buildings. Big Cold.

A standalone refrigerated structure — roof, walls and doors, 10,000 sq ft and up. If it fits on your slab, we’ll build it.

Design-assist and Value-engineering: Lean on centuries of experience to help your engineer plan the build. We can also handle larger phased builds.
Shop drawings and submittals — drawings and specs you approve — before we cut a panel.
Openings, drains and equipment pads coordinated with your other contractors.
Getting walls up and the building sealed is our top priority. The faster we seal, the sooner your other trades can get moving.

FAQ

What to ask cold storage construction companies first.

How long does a cold storage build take?
A 2,000 sq ft holding room is typically 2–3 weeks on site. A 20,000 sq ft standalone building runs 6–10 weeks for the envelope, depending on door count. Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks from signed quote to install start, shorter depending on crew availability and material lead times. Rush jobs are possible — ask.
Can you build inside an operating facility?
All the time. We protect nearby areas, schedule loud work around your operations, and clean up every shift.
Do you handle the refrigeration system?
We build and install the structure — panels, doors and trim. We coordinate every opening, drain line and equipment pad with your refrigeration contractor, and can recommend one.
Do you build for distributors and other logistics companies?
Yes. Distribution centers, food processors, and companies that store and ship refrigerated goods for other businesses — across New England and beyond, including recent builds in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
How far will you travel for a cold storage building?
Cold storage rooms and buildings anywhere in New England or New York are everyday work. If the project is big enough, we build it nationwide. Headquartered in Lakeville, MA.
