What We Build

What we build in Maine.

Food Bank Cold Storage

A cold storage building in Aroostook County for Catholic Charities Maine — built in 2026 to keep donated food safe for families across a rural service area.

Grocery Chains

A bakery freezer for Shaw's in South Portland and a Shaw's store in Augusta, plus Hannaford materials delivered to Parsonsfield — the same chain relationships we have across New England.

Panel and Door Repair

Panels in stock and doors built in our Lakeville shop, for grocers, food banks, and processors across Maine — caved walls, failed seams, and doors that no longer seal.

Portland is about 2 hours 30 minutes from our Lakeville shop; Augusta is 3 hours 15, Monticello about 6 hours.
Estimates within 2 business days of the site visit.
An RSNE crew lead runs every job, site visit to final trim.

Questions from Maine

Cold storage questions we hear in Maine.

How fast can you get to my location for a repair?
Portland is about 2 hours 30 minutes from our Lakeville shop, Augusta about 3 hours 15, and Monticello about 6 hours. We keep panels in stock and travel for repair calls, as fast as we can get there.
Who handles the refrigeration and electrical?
We build and repair the box — floors, walls, ceilings, and doors. For refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing we coordinate with your refrigeration contractor, or recommend one we trust, and we line up so the schedule works, wherever in Maine the job is.
Do you repair walk-ins other companies built?
Yes. Most of our repair calls are on boxes we didn't build: caved panels, failed seams, doors off their hinges, floors that have given out. We keep panels, doors, gaskets and hardware in stock in Lakeville, so a service call is a repair, not a wait.
How long does a build or door take if I'm in Maine?
Estimates come within two business days of a site visit. Custom doors, built in our Lakeville shop, run two to four weeks from approved drawings — travel time doesn't change that. A cold storage building varies with size and site conditions.
