RSNE Custom Swing & Slide Doors

Walk-In Cooler Door Replacement.
Built in Our Shop.

We build cooler and freezer doors in our shop in Lakeville, Massachusetts, and we hang them in your doorway. Each door is built to fit your opening, not a catalog size. An RSNE crew lead runs every job, site visit to final trim.

RSNE Custom Doors

Doors We Build in Lakeville.

Every door we build is made for how hard your crew uses it: commercial hinges and a gasket all the way around. We build a walk-in cooler door replacement to fit your opening: cut, filled with foam, covered in metal, and hung in place.

Made in Lakeville, MA

Cut, Foamed, Skinned, Hung.

We measure your opening first, then build the door to fit it. We’ve made doors in our Lakeville shop since 1990, and we keep the parts to service them on the shelf there.

Swing cooler doors, single and double, fully gasketed on commercial hinges
Freezer swing doors with heater wires built into the frame and a gasket all the way around
Sliding doors on a track, where a swing door won’t fit — moved by hand, smooth glide

Hinges, gaskets and sweeps can all come off and go back on right at your door — that’s cold storage door repair, on doors we built and doors we didn’t. Where forklifts run all shift, we hang traffic doors a forklift can push straight through. Where customers grab items straight from the cooler, we hang glass reach-in doors.

FAQ

Questions about walk-in cooler door replacement.

Why buy a custom door instead of a catalog door?
A catalog door comes in the maker’s standard sizes, so it fits an opening that matches one of them. Ours is built to your opening from the start, with hardware rated for how hard your crew uses it. A door that fits right closes right, and a door that closes right keeps the cold in.
Do you build doors for walk-ins you didn’t install?
Yes. Give us the size of the opening, and we’ll build a door to fit it — cooler or freezer, swing or slide.
How long does a custom door take to build?
Usually 2 to 4 weeks from approved drawings. We build it in our Lakeville shop — not shipped in from a catalog warehouse.
Do you service the doors you build?
Yes. Every door we build carries a 1-year warranty on our labor. After that, we’re local, so we can keep servicing it for its lifetime. That’s paid service, not free. Hinges, gaskets, sweeps and other hardware can all be replaced on site, and we keep the parts in Lakeville. We service doors we didn’t build too — see cold storage door repair.
What does a custom cooler or freezer door cost?
Every door is built to fit your opening and do what you need, so there’s no set price list. Call us, and we’ll give you a budget number over the phone.
How far will you travel to hang a door you built?
We cover all of New England and New York out of our shop in Lakeville, MA. If a project is big enough, we travel anywhere in the country. Because the shop stays put, we can come back years later and service the door we built.

Before you replace a door

New Door, or Just a Gasket?

A lot of the doors we’re called out to look at don’t need replacing at all. Our guide, repair or replace a walk-in cooler, walks through that decision, and we’ll quote whichever one turns out to be right for you.

Refrigerated Structures of New England did an AMAZING job on our new freezer door. Outstandingly professional gentlemen came to replace the door. They were never in the way and the door looks fantastic.
