Older freezers at Ben & Jerry’s. Safety upgrades and new doors.
Ben & Jerry’s has ice cream plants in Vermont. Some of the cold storage in its plants is older, and older rooms need more upkeep.
RSNE works with a Vermont general contractor at several Ben & Jerry’s sites, including the flagship plant in Waterbury. We’ve made safety upgrades to the high-volume production blast freezers. We’ve changed processing and production rooms. We’ve replaced insulated doors.
In St. Albans in 2024, we put in new cooler and blast freezer doors. In Waterbury in 2026, we put in two cooler doors with windows.
We work around older cold storage. New panels and doors are fitted to the rooms that are already there.
